The Best Camping Coffee Setup For High Quality Coffee

What can I say? I’m a coffee snob and fiend. However, I also love to camp and just be out in nature, sometimes a bit further away from things. That’s why I’ve figured out what the best setup is to have for making and enjoying coffee while I’m out camping.

Camping Stove

The first thing you will need is something to heat your water with. I just use a pretty standard camping stove that takes butane, nothing crazy.

Water Kettle For Camping

Next up is the kettle to heat the water in. Again, pretty self explanatory. I just bought this cheap but effective kettle on Amazon.

Pour Over Coffee Kit and Filter For Camping

The pour over kit from MiiR is one of my favorite items that I have discovered for making coffee when camping. I love the freshness and quality that pour overs deliver and this kit is super small and portable as well! I just use standard Chemex filters with this and they work well.

Coffee Beans For Camping

There are quite a lot of great coffee beans out there to try and I always love ordering new beans! However, one of my go-to favorites are the coffee beans from Onyx Coffee. Another brand of beans that I just discovered and love come from Coffee Project in New York.

Coffee Thermos For Camping

Finally, once my coffee is brewed I need something to drink it from. I love using the Carter Mug from Fellow because it keeps my coffee hot for so long and I can even take it on hikes and enjoy a cup of coffee with an epic view!
